enrich360® movement spreads across Australia
enrich360®, the food, farm, future program is now active in Victoria, Tasmania, Brisbane and Sydney after welcoming new customers TasTAFE Drysdale hospitality campus and Presbyterian Ladies College, NSW to the enrich360® Program.
A group of TasTAFE students have taken responsibility for the enrich360® process at the TAFE, loading and unloading the machine and also overseeing the kitchen garden outside the facility.
Cookery / Patisserie Teacher, Greg Hillier is driving the project and working with the students to get them not only separating the food waste during their lessons for recycling, but also teaching them the environmental reason for following this process. TasTAFE are demonstrating a circular economy to the students by converting their food waste to fertiliser for their kitchen garden and then using the vegetables and herbs they grow in their lessons.
As the first Tasmanian site for enrich360®, we will be joining the TAFE for the official launch of the program with local dignitaries and interested parties.
