How bad is bad?

By trapping heat, these emissions accelerate climate change, causing more severe and frequent weather events. Additionally, greenhouse gases contribute to air pollution which can lead to respiratory disease.
According to the Australian government, a staggering eight percent of greenhouse gas emissions can be attributed to food waste.
